Ritualistic
Every morning, Ben and I have a new ritual. In order to decide which of us has to make the morning coffee, we play Jan Ken Po (or for you haole folk, Paper Rock Scissors). I have a wicked losing streak going on, one that has me hanging my head in ancestral shame. Why? Well, when we first decided to play the game to see which one of us would have to make the coffee, I declared with pride, "My people invented it!"
