Cheering For a Chance
Strangely enough, I'm trying to tell myself that it's ok to cheer for Michigan. Everything within me keeps saying, "No, they're the bad guys, you're supposed to be pulling for OSU!" But that's not the conclusion I come to after looking at those ridiculous polls and BCS standings, both of which are about as clear as the Ala Wai and as logical as women's clothing size enumeration. If anything, the despite I have for the Maize and Blue leaves me in quite a conundrum: do I root for Ohio State, the lesser of two evils, or do I grudgingly cheer for Michigan, whose theoretical blowout win would help set up Notre Dame for a possible chance at another national title? A chance, I might add, that I don't think we deserve...
Oh, the pain! Decisions, decisions.
